SAVANNAH, GA. (June 18, 2014): Violent Crimes detectives for Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are investigating an east Savannah shooting that occurred Thursday night.

At 8:20 p.m. Metro responded to a shooting on the 1300 block of Southeast 36th Street. On arrival, Dion L. Folston, 17, was observed suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by EMS to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment. He suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are looking for a dark colored pickup truck, in which the suspect is believed to have fled the scene.
