1 DEAD, 1 WOUNDED AFTER SHOOTING

SAVANNAH, GA. (March 18, 2014): Violent Crimes Detectives for the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are investigating an east Savannah shooting that left one person dead and another injured.

At 7:24 p.m. Monday, Metro officers found two gunshot victims on the ground at the 2000 block of Mississippi Avenue. Barry Trevon Williams, 24, of the 1900 block of Skidaway Road, was pronounced dead at the scene. Dominique Ellison, 25, of a Mississippi Avenue address was transported to Memorial University Medical center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
