MOTORCYCLIST CRITICALLY HURT

SAVANNAH, GA (February 10, 2014): A Savannah man was listed in critical condition Monday night after losing control of his motorcycle on Interstate 516.

Troy Alan Burdette, 45, was traveling east about 5:15 p.m. when he exited the highway at Tremont Road and struck the guard rail on the left. He was thrown from the 2001 Yamaha and was transported to Memorial University Medical Center.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) continues to investigate.
