Note: Jimmy Simmons was located in good health in Albany, GA., this afternoon.

SAVANNAH, GA. (December 12, 2013): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are seeking help from the public is locating a 72-year-old Albany man who never reached relatives he was driving to meet in Savannah Wednesday.

Jimmy Simmons is a black male about 5-7 to 5-9 weighing 140 to 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue cowboy hat, blue cowboy jacket, jeans and sneakers. He also wears glasses.

He was driving a white 1999 Dodge Caravan with a Florida license plate W034WA.

He left Albany around 6 p.m. headed to Savannah but he left his cell phone and medication in Albany. He has progressing Alzheimer’s.

Anyone who comes into contact with him or feels they have seen him is asked to call Emergency 911.
