TRUCK COLLISION INJURES WOMAN

SAVANNAH, GA. (November 6, 2013): An Ellabell woman received serious injuries Wednesday when she drove a pickup into the path of a truck.

Cindy Miles Taylor, 47, was transported to Memorial University Medical Center after the 1:53 p.m. crash on the 1500 block of Dean Forest Road. A passenger in her vehicle received minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

She was driving a 2000 GMC Sierra that was exiting a truck stop when she pulled into the path of a 2006 Peterbilt tractor traveling in the right, north bound lane of Dean Forest Road. The driver of the tractor, Michael David Tomlinson, 38, of Guyton, was uninjured.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Major Accident investigation Team (MAIT) continues to investigate the collision.
