SAVANNAH, GA (October 9, 2013): Violent Crimes detectives continue to seek information on two males who attacked a 71-year-old woman in her Jones Street garage Aug. 9.

The woman had parked in the 100 block of East Jones Street about 10:30 p.m. when two males physically assaulted her and stole the car. She was seriously injured.

Her white, 2008 Lexus was driven from West Jones Street to the 800 block of Waters Avenue near East Gwinnet Street where it was abandoned without her purse and its contents.

Robbery Unit detectives of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department are asking anyone who saw two young black males in either area or in or around the car contact them. A confidential Tip Line is open directly to investigators at (912) 525-3124.

Anyone with information on the case also can call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637). Tipsters to Crimestoppers remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
