17-YEAR-OLD DIES AFTER SHOOTING

SAVANNAH, GA (January 22, 2013):  A 17-year-old male has died of gunshot wounds after a shooting on Savannah’s Southside Tuesday night.

Evan Colquitt died of multiple gunshot wounds at Memorial University Hospital after the 6:45 p.m. shooting in front of a house on the 400 block of Sharondale Road.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police violent crimes detectives are searching the area where the shooting took place and are asking the public for any information they may have on the case.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 23402020 or text CRIMES (274637.) Tipsters remain anonymous and can qualify for a cash reward.
