2 INJURED IN DELOACH PARKWAY CRASH

SAVANNAH, GA (January 4, 2013):Two drivers were transported for treatment of injuries after a two-vehicle collision on Jimmy DeLoach Parkway this morning.

 Jawwad Stephens, 22, and Peggy Waters, 45, both were transported to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment after the 6:50 a.m. crash at DeLoach and Crossroads Parkway.

 Stephens was operating a 1998 Honda Passport traveling west on DeLoach and attempted a left turn onto Crossroads. Waters was traveling east on DeLoach in a 2010 Honda CRV. The two vehicles collided.

 Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team continues to investigate the crash.
