YOUTH HIT BY SHOTS FIRED AT PARTY

SAVANNAH, GA (December 16, 2012): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police officers investigating  reports of shots being fired this morning found a party where a youth had been shot.

 Arnold Greene II, 17, of Garden City, already had been transported to a hospital by private vehicle when Downtown Precinct officers arrived in the 600 block of East Anderson Street at 2:25 a.m.

 Officers found that multiple shots had been fired at the party from multiple guns.

 Greene was listed in stable condition at Memorial University Medical Center.

 The investigation is continuing by SCMPD Violent Crimes detectives and Forensics investigators.

 Anyone with information  is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637). In the body type, include “CStop2020” plus the tip. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
