SAVANNAH, GA (September 3, 2012)  The wife of a Talahi Island area man found dead in his garage Sunday and a juvenile have been charged with concealing his death as Metro police investigate the cause.

 Judith Ann Phelps and a juvenile were being held after Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police entered the residence  on Nilsson Drive Sunday evening after failing to get a response from occupants.

 Island Precinct officers were reacting to a call from a family member who reported seeing the body of Thomas Phelps in the garage. Once the death was confirmed, police obtained search warrant to enter and process the scene throughout the night.

 Violent crimes detectives are continuing to investigate the death and circumstances pertaining to it.

 Anyone with information is asked to call the SCMPD Violent Crimes Division at (912) 651-6728 or Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
