Man sought by police after domestic violence


SAVANNAH, GA ( April 19, 2012) Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are looking for a man who threatened a woman and set her van on fire Tuesday morning.

James Edward Moultrie, 62, is wanted by SCMPD for terroristic threats and cruelty to children in the 1st degree. MOULTRIE is accused of throwing a brick through the window of his ex girlfriends window, texting threatening messages to the daughter of the victim, Karen Worthen, and repeatedly threatening to kill her after a break-up.

Tuesday April 17, MOULTRIE is accused of setting fire to Worthen’s van. Savannah Fire arson investigators are investigating that incident.  MOULTRIE is a black male, 5’7, 170 lbs, and is considered to be dangerous. He is out on parole for robbery by force. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637). Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
