POLICE SEEK HELP IDENTIFYING MEN

SAVANNAH, GA (January 10, 2013): Metro Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men wanted for questioning in the shooting of a Savannah man Wednesday.

Violent Crimes detectives are investigating the shooting of Ramon Waring, 24, of Yamacraw Village at Fahm and Zubly streets in Downtown Savannah. Waring was treated at Memorial University Medical Center after the 2:05 p.m. shooting.

Video of two men shopping in a nearby store was released by Metro today. The men are sought as persons of interest in the investigation.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637). In the body type, include “CStop2020” plus the tip. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
